Students establish the key concepts and inquiry skills needed throughout the course. They examine worldview as a framework shaped by beliefs, values, experiences, geography, and historical context. Students distinguish between primary and secondary sources, identify perspective and bias, develop chronological understanding, and connect worldview to citizenship, identity, governance, and economic decision-making. The topic introduces respectful intercultural inquiry and prepares students to compare societies without treating one worldview as universally superior.
