Privacy Policy

SundaySaturday is a product of Braintoy Inc., a corporation incorporated in Canada and headquartered in Calgary, Alberta (“Braintoy”, “we”, “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal information through the SundaySaturday websites, app, email and chat assistants (chat@sundaysaturday.com) and marketplace (the “Service”). It should be read with our Terms of Service.

Personal information

Information that identifies you, which you give us when you use the Service:

• your name, email address and sign-in details, or your Google or Microsoft account if you sign in with one;
• billing details for paid plans (payments are handled by our payment processor; we never see your full card number); and
• messages you send us, including emails and chats with our assistants.

Information about the children you add

The name or nickname you enter, and optionally a grade, email address and PIN, plus their answers, scores, progress and any help requests they send when they use a quiz or notice board you shared.

Content you create

Quizzes, learning paths, notes, files and links you add, and any marketplace listings or reviews you publish.

Usage information

General information about how the Service is used, such as the pages and features you use, the type of device and browser, and the date and time of your visit. We collect this using cookies and similar technologies (see Cookies and location).

We use information to:

• create and manage your account and respond to your questions;
• provide the Service, including quizzes, learning paths, progress tracking and the assistants;
• generate AI-powered quizzes, feedback and suggestions you ask for;
• process payments for paid plans;
• send you service emails and, if you turn them on, progress reports and updates;
• show curricula and results that fit your region, and tailor suggestions to your interests;
• understand how the Service is used so we can improve it and develop new features;
• keep the Service, our users and children safe, and prevent misuse; and
• comply with the law and our internal policies.

To create quizzes, feedback, reports and suggestions, we share the information needed for that request with trusted AI service providers who process it on our behalf. Please don’t include sensitive details about a child, such as health or family circumstances, in prompts, uploads or messages. AI can make mistakes; see our Terms of Service.

SundaySaturday is for parents and guardians. Children don’t create accounts; they use the Service only through links, notice boards and PINs an adult gives them. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without a parent’s or guardian’s consent, which the adult on the account gives when they add a child.

• We collect only what is needed to run learning activities and show progress to the adult on the account.
• We never sell children’s information or use it for advertising.
• You can review a child’s information, remove a child, or ask us to delete their history at any time.

If you believe a child has given us information without consent, contact us at support@sundaysaturday.com and we will delete it.

We use a few essential cookies to keep you signed in and keep your account secure. If you choose “Accept All” in our cookie banner, we also use cookies to understand how the site is used and to measure our advertising.

We never collect or store your precise location. With your permission, we keep only your general location (your country, and sometimes your province or state) in a cookie, so we can show curricula and results that fit where you are.

You can choose “Essential Only” instead, or block cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work properly without essential cookies. To change your choice later, clear this site’s cookies in your browser and the banner will ask again.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:

• within the Braintoy group of companies, consistent with this policy;
• with trusted service providers who help us run the Service (for example hosting, payments, email delivery, AI features, and analytics and advertising measurement with your consent), who must keep it confidential and use it only for us;
• with the people you choose to share with, such as learners who open your links, or the public for listings and reviews you publish;
• when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of children, our users, the public or us; and
• with a buyer or successor if all or part of our business is sold, subject to this policy.

We are based in Canada. Information we collect may be stored and processed outside Canada, for example on servers in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of that country.

We keep your information while your account is open and as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete your account information, the children you added and your content. Usage information is kept for a limited time and then deleted, and we keep billing records for as long as the law requires.

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or change. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will tell you as the law requires.

• See and correct your information in Profile & settings, or ask us for a copy.
• Delete your account at any time from Profile & settings.
• Cookies: change your choice as described in Cookies and location.
• Emails: turn report emails on or off in your settings, or use the unsubscribe link in our emails. We will still send emails about your account and billing.

To make a request, email support@sundaysaturday.com. We will reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have other rights, and you can contact a privacy regulator such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner of Alberta.

The Service may link to websites we don’t operate, including resources inside quizzes and learning paths. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, so please review their policies.

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. If we make an important change, we will tell you in the Service or by email and ask you to review and accept it the next time you sign in.
